Andalucía weekly weather forecast April 29-May 1: Warm temperatures, strong winds and a few showers

Expect sunshine, the occasional shower, and some gusty winds this week across Andalucía

This week in Andalucía, we're looking at a mix of strong Levante winds, sunshine and a few showers. While the region will enjoy plenty of bright spells, the weather will also bring some cloudier moments, especially in the west. And, just to add a bit of excitement, there’s a chance of dust from the Sahara drifting in, bringing with it the possibility of muddy rain in some areas.

We’ll see some cloud this Tuesday April 29, especially along the Mediterranean coast, with light, scattered showers in the morning, especially around Almería and Málaga. Later, Huelva and the far west might see some rain too. Dust in the air could lead to muddy rain in the south and east. Temperatures will rise in the east, but remain steady or fall slightly in the west. Winds will continue strong along the coast but be lighter inland.

The western half of Andalucía will see more cloud, with showers and possible thunderstorms. Meanwhile, inland areas like Jaén and Córdoba will stay brighter, with only a few clouds. Daytime temperatures will stay fairly steady or dip slightly in the west. Winds will remain strong along the coast, but much lighter inland.

Thursday brings more unsettled weather to the west, with showers and the chance of thunderstorms, especially in Seville and Córdoba. The eastern side of the region, including Málaga and Almería, will remain sunnier with only a few light showers. Temperatures will rise across the region, especially in the west, and winds will stay strong on the coast but ease inland.

This week in Andalucía, we can expect a mix of sunshine, strong winds and a few showers, with the added possibility of dusty rain. It’s a great week to enjoy the warmth but be ready for a bit of cloud and wind now and then.
