Where to eat, La Torre Golf Resort

Bars and Restaurants La Torre Golf Resort

Where to eat, La Torre Golf ResortLa Torre Golf Resort has loads of options for eating and drinking onsite, and guests do not have to leave the resort to eat out, whether for lunch or dinner, or to enjoy a coffe or cocktail at any time of day.

If you’re a visitor – and non-residents are welcome in all the establishments on the resort – reaching this area is easy as the restaurants are signposted clearly no matter which of the two entry gates you use.

Where to eat, La Torre Golf ResortAmong the onsite establishments are an Italian restaurant, Irish bar O’Leary’s and a fish ‘n’ chip restaurant.

All of these restaurant facilities are located in the same area, near the resort’s hotel, and none is more than five minutes’ walk from another.

Eating off resort

Where to eat, La Torre Golf ResortIf you prefer to venture out of the development for a meal, there is plenty on offer only a short distance away and prices obviously reflect local residential rates, rather than resort rates and opening times the needs of a local Spanish native population. Roldán has a few restaurants: an Indian, various Italians, various Spanish bars and restaurants, Chinese food, and a fair few establishments clearly designed to attract the non-Spaniards using La Torre and other nearby developments. On the nearby industrial estate on the Murcia-San Javier road there is another Indian and a Spanish tandoori restaurant owned. The setting of an industrial estate sounds unappetizing, but don’t be put off!

The towns of Torre Pacheco and Los Alcázares are within ten minutes’ drive, and both offer a wide range of dining experiences, from a plethora of typically Spanish eateries to an impressive list of international cuisine. Curry’s Nepali & Indian Restaurant in Los Narejos is particularly recommended, as they have a buffet every Sunday and regular live music nights.

Torre Pacheco is the smaller of the two towns but there are still a number of restaurants, including two or three with Italian cuisine, the restaurants nearly all Spanish owned.

Where to eat, La Torre Golf ResortIn Los Alcázares the number of options available is almost endless. Whether your preferences are Mediterranean, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, French, American or even British, you’ll be able to find something to satisfy the taste buds!

Los Alcázares is home to a large ex-pat community throughout the year, so has considerably more British-geared businesses and restaurants, with menus in English widely available. The main focal points are the Oasis Centre, which is next to the exit for Los Alcázares north and the Río Nalón, in the centre of the town, ( known locally as English Alley) due to the numbers of expat-orientated businesses and services. The seafront and old town of Los Alcázares also has a good number of hostelries, as well as Spanish restaurants.

Both Los Alcázares and Torre Pachecho are close enough to make a taxi easily affordable if the task of choosing a designated driver for the evening proves too controversial! (Taxis available from outside of the hotel)

Where to eat, La Torre Golf ResortSlightly further afield, the La Torre Golf Resort is no more than 30 minutes from Cartagena and 35 minutes from Murcia, bringing both of the Region’s major cities within easy range for a special meal out. The southern end of the Costa Blanca is also close by (Pilar de la Horadada 15 minutes, Torrevieja 30 minutes), as is La Manga (30 minutes), so there’s no excuse for failing to combine a little sightseeing with broadening your gastronomic horizons.
