Warnings for temps approaching 40 degrees: Alicante weather forecast June 30-July 3
Daytime temperatures throughout the Costa Blanca will remain at stifling levels until at least the middle of the week

Weather alerts in place for Alicante province on Monday June 30
The heatwave will persist in Alicante province until at least the middle of the week, with weather alerts issued for temperatures approaching 40ºC in large parts of the province. But as with the rest of Spain, change could be coming from Wednesday or Thursday, when there’s a chance of showers and even isolated thunderstorms in places.
Monday June 30

For now though, Alicante will continue to bake. We can expect brilliantly sunny skies on Monday with temperatures largely unchanged. Light variable winds will offer little relief during the first half of the day, but it could be a little more breezy towards the evening.
Yellow warnings for extreme temperatures have been activated across the province from midday.
Tuesday July 1

The skies could be a touch cloudier on Tuesday, but it will still be nice and sunny for the most part. Although daytime temperatures will dip very slightly in the north of Alicante, the mercury will still remain unusually high for early July.
A yellow heat warning remains in place along the southern coast.
Wednesday July 2

Cloud cover will begin to build on Wednesday, especially in the northern interior where occasional thundery showers are forecast all afternoon. Temperatures will remain very high, perhaps dipping by a degree or two in places.
Thursday July 3

Thursday’s forecast is almost identical to Wednesday, with slightly cloudy skies and a high probability of thunderstorms in the north. Day-time temperatures could fall very slightly again.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this week
- Monday June 30: Min 22ºC; Max 38ºC
- Tuesday July 1: Min 21ºC; Max 37ºC
- Wednesday July 2: Min 21ºC; Max 36ºC
- Thursday July 3: Min 21ºC; Max 36ºC
