The AFS Wind 105 is the race version of the Wind 95.
The Wind 105 is available with the R-800 wings or with the R-800/R-750 combo. The R-800 wings have a special profile, thick, with a lot of lift, really efficient in light and medium winds, to perform during the upwind and downwind runs. The small chord authorise big Vmax, to obtain the best VMG during your races.
The R-750 have been designed to reach the maximum speed in medium to high winds. Thin, small chord, they’re really fast !

A Windfoil For Racing
AFS-105 Race Performance Windfoil Developed by Marc Ménec and Tanguy Le Bihan, naval architects specialized in the design of foils, and produced by Foil and Co.It is the windfoil with which Julien Quentel won the Sylt PWA Windfoil event, and impressed observers with his performances at the PWA event in Nouméa.
The profile of the shaft is the same but the length has been raised to 105 cm. Sailing is safer and faster at all speeds, especially in a rough water. The wings are optimized for race use, with superior performance on upwind and downwind angles, while providing the best VMG around the race course. The fuselage is the same as that of the AFS-95.
The R-800 wing has a special wing profile, thicker, with a lot of lift, yet 
super-efficient in light to medium winds, with excellent upwind or downhill angles. The higher aspect wing profiles allow significantly higher Vmax speeds while maintain stability for easy control. The leaner R-750 wing has been designed to reach maximum speeds in medium to heavy winds. Be ready, this is serious windfoiling speed and control.

AFS ( Alien Foil System) was born within the windsurfing board brand AHD in 2009, with the marketing of the first windsurf foil combo (board plus foil as standard).
The historical model is the AFS-1, a foil dedicated to a light wind freeride practice, with small areas of sail (5.5m² in 10nds of wind). Subsequently, its field of use extended to SUP foil, with the Sealion board range, making it the first windsurf and Stand Up Paddle compatible foil on the market (2011).
In 2017 the AFS-2 was launched, a new generation windfoil, developed and manufactured in France. With this, AFS takes off and becomes a full-fledged brand dedicated to foil windsurfing.
