Soaring temperatures but cloudy skies: Alicante weather forecast May 19-22

Alicante can expect a few scattered showers throughout the week but summery temperatures will continue

Temperatures forecast on Tuesday afternoon, May 20

While the north of Spain is bracing for another stormy week, the spring-like weather will continue in Alicante province. We can expect some light rain but temperatures will tip to a more summery 30ºC at times.

Monday May 19

The week will begin quite overcast with some light drizzle in the early morning, but this will clear by the afternoon, although there could be some suspended dust in the air.

Temperatures will start to climb as the sun comes out and the breezes will remain fairly light.

Tuesday May 20

The skies will be mostly clear again on Tuesday although there will be more overcast periods in inland areas. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged but the winds will gather strength along the coast in the afternoon.

Wednesday May 21

Wednesday will be a little cloudier but there will be plenty of sunny spells as the mercury takes another upward swing along the coast.

In the afternoon, light winds from the south and southeast will tend to develop, with intervals of moderate intensity in coastal areas.

Thursday May 22

Although Thursday will start out bright, the cloud cover will become heavier from the afternoon onwards. Scattered showers are forecast, more likely inland, where they could be accompanied by thunderstorms.

Despite this, daytime temperatures will remain unchanged in the south of the province, but it will be breezy along the coast.

Tuesday May 20: Min 13ºC; Max 32ºC
Wednesday May 21: Min 14ºC; Max 30ºC
Thursday May 22: Min 14ºC; Max 29ºC
