Possible confusion surrounds Camposol land plot up for auction

A plot of over 12,000 square metres enters the state auction but the boundaries are unclear

A plot of land entered the state auction on August 1 on Sector D of the Camposol urbanisation, with the deadline for bids being 6.00pm on August 21, the land in question being listed as Plot DP-3B, which is privately owned, designated for sports use and bordering polígonos D4 and D7 and to the west of the football pitch on Calle Nogales.

Some confusion may arise as the land registry reference shows the plot including part of the recently-constructed exercise area installed by Mazarrón Council, although the auction listing does contain additional information which mentions “This property is not graphically coordinated with the catastro (Land Registry)”.

The plot is described as; Building plot for sports use with an area of twelve thousand three hundred and twenty-four metres located in the El Saladillo Partial Plan -Sectors B, C, D, F-, -Area A05-07-, Municipality of Mazarrón.

The valuation is quoted as €183.014,07 with a minimum bid of €18.301,40. The plot has been for sale for at least 4 years at various prices from less than €100,000 to €250,000 and was entered into the auction by order of the Murcia regional tax agency. Bids can be lodged only by people registered with the state auction portal.

Prospective buyers may face a wait if they want to carry out extensive development as plans could fall foul of the planning suspension placed on El Saladillo some time ago.
