CST/FAST - Medical Emergencies on Camposol

CST/FAST is a quick response Medical emergencies team operated by trained volunteers on Camposol.
The aim is not to provide full medical cover, but help to gain those few vital minutes of extra medical support which could make a big difference to those who have been involved in an accident.

CST/FAST - MEDICAL EMERGENCIES ON CAMPOSOL

The COMMUNITY SUPPORT TEAM/FAST is a quick response medical emergency team of volunteers who are fully trained in life saving techniques. They are available to all residents and visitors to Camposol where a medical emergency exists, be it a fall or something more serious. They cannot provide full medical cover, but help to gain those few vital minutes of medical support until the arrival of the ambulance. All responders are trained and authorised to use CPR and Defibrillator. They meet for weekly training sessions, on a Tuesday from 10 am to 12 noon in the Cultural Centre, Camposol B, to keep all the Responders up to date with all the procedures in which they are trained.
CST/FAST Book Stall: Held on Sector B Camposol on the 2nd and last Friday of the month.
CST/FASTare always in need of more responders from residents of Camposol. Anyone wishing to learn more about the service can email for more information.

Visitors will receive free medical treatment PROVIDING they have an EHIC card , which is a European wide health insurance card issued free to UK citizens. If you do not have one of these cards, or your card has expired, you will be charged to see a doctor.
Make sure you and your visitors have an up to date EHIC card before coming to Spain. If emergency medical treatment is required, it is possible to could find yourself with a very hefty bill, if you are without a card or travel insurance.
