The Murcia municipality is offering free beer, concerts and workshops this weekend
The Artisanal, Commerce and Hospitality Fair is scheduled for this weekend in the municipality of Totana, in south west Murcia, with food contests, free beer and lots of prizes up for grabs.
Totana Town Hall have organised the event, in collaboration with local businesses and the Commerce Association, with the goal of increasing traffic to bars, restaurants and shops in the municipality, as these businesses have been amongst the worst affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
This weekend’s programme kicks off at 8pm on Friday:
Friday October 15- 8pm: Inauguration of the fair, with local and regional representatives.
- 8.15pm: Tapas Competition with a 500-euro prize and the first 200 beers will be free.
- 9pm: dance performance by DANSA dance school.
- 9.15pm to 10pm: fashion show ‘Tendencias’.
- 10pm: dance performance by Loles Miralles dance studio.
- 10.30pm: concert by INKEYS.
Saturday October 16
- 1.30pm: opening of the Day Fair, first 200 beers free, music by DJ Jorge Santis, and prize giving ceremony for the Tapas Competition.
- 4pm: free tasting of mini ensaimadas made by La Despensa de Tani (first 200 free).
- 5pm: Pottery Workshop for all audiences. Limited places; to sign-up send a WhatsApp message to 665 679 824.
- 6pm to 9pm: Fashion Show
- 7pm: dance performance by Lionel Mellado dance studio.
- 9pm: dance performance by PASO A PASO dance school.
- 10.30pm: concert by The Tracks.
Sunday October 17
- 12 noon: Pottery Contest with a 500-euro price.
- 12 noon to 2pm: Painting Class and Fashion Show.
- 1pm: dance performance by Chari Ruiz dance school.
- 1.45pm: prize giving ceremony for the Pottery Contest.
- 2pm to 5pm: Day Fair with music by DJ Jorque Santis.
