A weekend of sunshine: Alicante weather forecast April 24-28
Temperatures will shoot up across Alicante province over the next couple of days

Average temperatures on Saturday April 26
After a long stretch of unsettled conditions, the province of Alicante is in for a calm and sunny spell, with temperatures climbing steadily over the next few days. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), skies will remain mostly clear and thermometers are expected to shoot past 25°C inland from Thursday onwards.
Across the coast, daytime highs will hover between 22 and 25°C, with gentle breezes and spring warmth dominating much of the weekend. Inland areas will feel even warmer, especially on Thursday and Friday, when the mercury is set to rise above 25°C.
However, the weekend won’t be entirely dry. Showers are expected to develop inland on Saturday afternoon, and could come with the occasional thunderstorm. Minimum temperatures will creep up slightly, while highs may dip a little, especially in northern and inland parts of the province.
Thursday April 24

Mostly sunny with just a few scattered clouds. Temperatures will rise notably, especially inland, while coastal areas will enjoy light breezes that turn easterly later in the day.
Friday April 25

High clouds will drift in, with some intervals of cloud cover expected by the evening. Temperatures will remain steady across the province. Winds will be light and variable, leaning easterly inland and southerly along the coast during midday hours.
Saturday April 26

The day will start off partly sunny but by the afternoon, isolated showers and thunderstorms could pop up inland. Temperatures will drop slightly in the interior and north of the province, while remaining stable along the coast. Winds will shift from west to east throughout the day, with moderate gusts possible near the shoreline.
Sunday April 27

Some patchy morning clouds may linger in the north, but the rest of the province will see clearer skies as the day progresses. Light showers are still possible in the north. Minimum temperatures will dip a little, especially inland, while highs may decline slightly in the south of Alicante. Easterly winds will pick up during the central hours of the day.
Monday April 28

The new week will begin with pleasant spring weather. Expect around 20°C during the day and lows of about 10°C overnight. Skies will stay mostly clear, with light sea breezes and up to eight hours of sunshine.
