ARCHIVED - 27th September free walking route in Águilas ; the Cuatro Calas coastal walk

This is a FREE 4km guided route offered by Águilas Tourist office which explores the wild coastline of the municipality encompassing a huge range of flora and fauna and interesting geological features.
Águilas has many gorgeous wild beaches and unspoilt coastline stretching out on both sides from the central town and port, this stretch in the Calarreona district, covered by the SL-MU 18 walking route.
The route departs from the beach of Calarreona at 10:00 (at the southern end by the camping) and visits four of the attractive wild coves in this run of beaches which lies within a protected area and has been included by the European Commission within the Natura 2000 network as a Site of Community Interest, and contains the Cañada Brusca salt marsh, which is a candidate to become a botanical micro-reserve, as well as the volcanic outcrop of Punta Parda, which has been proposed as a Site of Geological Interest.

If your chosen date is not showing in the list below then the route may be full, but still contact the tourist office as there is usually a waiting list and other dates may be offered instead.
